Saving a torch!

While doing as bit of vacuuming in the tank I managed a very exuberant sneeze. This sneeze caused the the hose to pass over my torch coral. This caused the fleshy part of the torch to get sucked into the hose leaving just the skeleton. I snatched up the the flesh and set them on the skeleton where they seemed to attach themselves.

Anyone have any experience with something like this?
