saving an acro

i found dying acro at my lfs. it was bleaching and the flesh a was coming off the skeleton. i cut it a good way above the bleaching line. i have never tried keeping acros much less saving them. has anyone done such a thing?

Any pictures? I bought a Red Planet a year ago that looked terrible. It's now my favorite coral. Good luck!
