First time seing one in person. Probably less than 3" Beautiful fish....but the adults aren't so pretty. The orange gets kinda dull.
wish they weren't so expensive and aggressive.
anyone keeping these guys? what's your experience w/them?
I've seen fully, fully grown adults at the Monterey Bay Aquarium many years ago. Very large. The back half does in fact get kind of muddy orange, with only the front end staying brighter. I thought the garibaldis were prettier
Bold is an understatement. They are nasty sobs when they reach maturity. I think they are beauties as adults. Usually rare, expensive fish are delicate. Not the case with these guys. One of the hardiest angels you can get. Tim
