But this must be low tide where it barely goes below reef rock so waves can still submerge them.

It must so mean yearly tidal height variations still do not make low tide go too low...

Amazing! Maybe someone should replicate in a home tank!
 
Picture was taken off the coast of one of the Figian islands. Diving near this coral mount would be pretty cool. Following this down and working with the surge as you went down and then looking up the slope at the corals and fish. Nice visual.

You probably wouldnt like the 6-7 knot drift dives we used to do at Palencar in Cozumel then ya big Gurl. LoL ;)
 
Been diving in Cozumel. Enjoyed it. Wife was working on getting her certification, so no strong current dives for us.
