saw white spots on blue tang

I just got a baby 1 inch hippo tang and afte 1 week i saw a few white spots on him, I managed to catch him and put him in a seperate medicated tank, did I catch him in time to prevent the desease from spreading to the rest of the fish in the tank?

Maybe. Hippo tangs are very susceptible to ich. The few times that my two have had ich, my other fish were not affected. To be on the safe side, if space allows, I would treat your other fish in a hospital tank with copper.

i was lucky to catch the baby tang, i have no chance catching the others.
