SCA 302 bubble production is down

Bubble production has gone down significantly in my SCA302. I cleaned the pipes, venturi and the pump with no change.

Any help?

It's likely the result of lower dissolved organics in the water but it could be the pump too.

When you turn to increase air flow are you able to more bubbles?

I find that both the venturi intake and the muffler tend to get salted up. Make sure both are clean and not obstructing air flow.

also there is a mod for this too..cut off the barb and it makes more bubles

How do I clean both up?

I soaked the venturi piece in vinegar to dissolve tough deposits. For the muffler, I hooked up a long airline filled with freshwater and blew the water through it repeatedly to clear and dissolve the salt. Hard to get every bit of water out of the muffler after but the constant airflow during use evaporates it quickly.
