Added t5 ballasts to my canopy. Made wiring them a whole lot easier. I should have done that from the beginning.

Schnitzel's Shallow Leemar 250



Finally re did my aquascape.

Also Just threw in some Acros from my frag tank. Decided to just cut frags of my frags. Haha. I'm gunna keep a list of everything I have. That way in 2 years I'll remember what I got. So this is what I have so far:

Just got my acro order in. The fiancé is floating them in her office tank. Here's what I got :

Unfortunately I had a horrible case of ich. It was brought on from my stressed out blue tang, but my powder blue made it 10x worse when he got a bad case that wouldn't go away. Ended up losing 2 of my 4 yellows, potters angel, flame angel, powder blue, cardinal I've had for 2+ years, and a Wyoming white clown. :/ pretty bummed, but tanks and coral are doing great. Got some nasty hair algae, I need to hook up my reactor and run some gfo. I feed a lot of pellets, and I know my phosphates creep up quickly with out running some gfo.

I also like Steve's LED's but I do have a few small complaints He originally didn't use solderless LED's and that makes ones life so much easier. And he also uses cheap knock offs for power supplies which I've replaced 2 already due to faulty fans. Before I powered on my last replacement I learned and swapped the fan first - lol. I actually have one of his retro kits on one 29 cube and the other is using Rapid's.

Never the less, everything looks really nice. Thanks for sharing!

I don't use any of Steve's power supplies or drivers. I use all meanwell. Meanwell drivers have proven to be great led drivers. Have been using the same ELN drivers for almost 3 years. I Have not had one go out on me

Finally did a water change on this beast, it was her first one. 30 gallons




I also added about 10+ new acros to the tank. They were all my original pieces I had in my frag tank.
