Science Center Maintenance

I'm going to eventually try to make one of these events. Next time you guys go could you post some pictures?

Im going to try and plan on coming to help this time. Last time it got changed and I couldnt rearrange my schedule that fast~

Due to the Science Center's rules, no kids are allowed as they are closed when we are there and they do not have any staff working. This is a liability issue from their standpoint. Other than that, S.L.A.S.H. members are welcome. If non members are interested in helping, please email me and we will discuss the option. This is mainly because the science Center recognize S.L.A.S.H. as taking care of the tanks and you are representing the club when you are there with that effort.

Where is try is tank? I took my boys this Saturday morning to the science center but could not find the tank. Didn't make it to every corner of the place but will make it a point to go see it if I know where to look.

It's in the Discovery Room, which is a special classroom area so you can't just walk up to see the tank. You can see it through the windows of the classroom though.

Oh! We made it in the door of the classroom then the little one went bolistic on me and we had to turn around. Next time we'll start the tour there.

Kind of a hybrid of this information. We have two at the Science Center.

One is in the Life Science Lab which is the classroom looking place on the main level. They have a phyto and pod exhibit in the main window as you are approaching the class. Unless there is a class going on this is always open to the general public.

The second tank is in the Discovery Room which is on the second floor and is one of the only places you have to pay to go in. It is market for kids around 6 and under.

We are on for maintenance on Saturday, February 6th. I will be there around 0745 and we will head in around 0800. When you go into the parking lot, follow the green fence on the right and park back near the end of it. There should be a red Chrysler and gray BMW parked somewhere near there. That will be Justin and I.

Kego, I think the Tani discussion was for the next weekday one which should be next month. That being said, my family will not be home and it will not be hard to get me to go somewhere afterwords for lunch.
