I'd like to take a moment to thank our host ReefMeister2.

It was a nice gathering and a good time.

I wanted to thank them for making myself and my daughter feel welcome.

I also wanted to mention how glad I was to see a meeting with an itinerary. There were talks on Acrylic scratch removal, auto top off systems and some of us made water storage drums (added plumbing to the 55gal drums). We had a whiteboard to sketch out ideas and talked about a few different items (I managed to corner Nicole (sorry, forgot the screen name) and was able to drag some info on Clown husbandry from her... I think I gave her a headache! (why is it that every woman I ever deal with gets headaches? Hmm... ;) )).

Meetings like this are one of the great things about the hobby. Learn, meet new people, do some networking.

Thank you again. It was fun!

Thanks Bruce,
You two certainly drove a long way to make the workshop, I'm glad you had a good time and had a chance to meet fellow reefers in the area. There is always something new to learn. Every person I talk to has some new perspective or idea that I didn't think about. I like to pass on the information/knowledge/experiences any chance I get. It is extremely crucial in this hobby that we learn from one another.

Thankyou Nicole and Steve for the supportive roles and everyone else that made this a very enjoyable Saturday get-together.
It was great to meet each and every one of you.
Wellll, Ok, except maybe that guy from MASLAC :D
I'm totally kidding!
Actually, I wish there were many more "inter-club" activities like this. We really do need to pool our resources and have more functions to network together as fellow hobbiests. We all live so close to each other.
