SCMAS July Meeting

Just to be clear, I wanted to let everyone know that the meeting will have to end at 4:00 p.m. I have to be at rehearsal at 5 on Saturday evening and that will give my wife and her entourage a chance to clean up before I leave. That way, I can pretend to help out. :D

I will be at this meeting!! YAY.

I want to chat about drilling and installing a built in overflow.

I will probably be bringing a friend too.

:-) Keri

(sorry for the late notice, I don't get on here much anymore)

See you all there with my wife, should be a great time and I'm sure the food will be excellent. Looks like maybe the number is more like 24 or 26. Let us know if you want us to bring drinks or something.

Cliff and Lisa, thank you so much for opening our house to us. You have a beautiful home and your tank is incredible. I can't believe the growth in just a few months!!!

I just wanted to thank Cliff and Lisa for their hospitality, and hosting the meeting today. Cliff your tank is awesome....

thanks again!

Cliff,

It was great to meet you and the rest of the reefers that were there too. I was thoroughly impressed with your tank, your house, and all the great food. It was awesome!

Cliff, you really need to thank Lisa from all of us. That was some really great food, and the time she spent preparing it was greatly appreciated. Especially for a bunch of people talking about fish all day. lol

I am quite impressed with your tank in only 8 months since I first saw it. You have very fat happy fish, and your corals are showing great growth.

Great meet! Thanks Cliff and Lisa for the terrific spread! Great tank to boot! Special thanks to Seascape for the 14G Biocube and to Marc at Marco Rocks for the awesome rocks. And THANK YOU SCMAS members for opening up your wallets and purses to purchase some raffle tickets. You folks helped raise $230.00 for the club funds. Great job to everyone. Uhmmm, Todd, your check bounced!

Hey Cliff, thanks for hosting such a great meeting, and giving me all those great corals, and gorgonian. They're looking GREAT in my tank right now.

Thank you Lisa for all the work you and your friends put into the great food, and for allowing Cliff to host a meeting! Hope we didn't disappoint you! Cliff, your tank looks great!

Thanks for all the compliments. I will be sure to let Lisa know how much she was appreciated. Although she's not that interested in reefkeeping, she supports me 100% and I love her for it. Also, I want to cordially invite everyone to the event that was in the "parting gift" bags that Lisa gave out. That's where I've been going to rehearsal for the last 2 months and it is always a great time. There's good food afterward as well. So, feel free to come out and be my special guests.

J, thanks for the pods. They are already gathering on the glass down in the fuge. I can't believe how cool it is to watch bugs in a tank. I'm a reef geek, what can I say.

Caleb, enjoy the corals, man. I am just glad they went to someone who will enjoy them. Be sure and post some pics once they all open up good. Also, I have a green toadstool that's about 6" in diameter that drops babies quite often. Let me know if you want to get a piece of that as well.

See you all at the next meet. I just got home and am going to sleep.

Since Todd's check bounced, didn't my number come up next?

Thanks Cliff and Lisa for the best food yet at a meeting and a first for parting gift bags as well. That's setting the bar pretty high for future meetings. Dude your tank is awesome as well as the house and it was nice to finally see another G4X in action.

I second what everybody else has said.
It was good to see some new members and good to see some that haven't made it in a while.
You have raised the bar foodwise now Cliff LOL, tell your wife I felt guilty but I couldn't stop eating all those snacks!
Chris

He he, Big thanks Cliff (and definately kudo's to lisa) for being such great hosts! I must say the first meeting I am thoroughly impressed by both meeting and club! I will definately be hitting next months.
