On behalf of SCMAS we would like to thank all of you who helped make Reef-A-Palooza 2010 the largest Marine Aquarium Event in the country and quite possibly the world. It takes a great amount of cooperation to pull off a show of this caliber and I want to thank all that made it possible. The SCMAS Steering Committee worked for an entire year planning this event. Our Sponsors and Exhibitors took a chance on us when many other events around the country were experiencing record low attendance. SCMAS members came out in full force to donate their time to work the show. And thousands of people showed up to show just how strong this hobby really is. Not only did we attract people in the hobby but I am quite sure this event even inspired a few more to get into the hobby. We could not be more pleased about how the event turned out.

There is a lot of room for improvement still left in this event and we are committed to listening to your suggestions to insure that Reef-A-Palooza continues to be an outstanding event. If there is anything that you can think of that will help make the event better, we would like to hear from you. We are committed to always trying to improve the event and the feedback is essential! Thank you all again.

Thanks gcarroll and all of SCMAS for an awesome show!

...and I'm not saying this because of all my raffle luck!

Great show. Maybe an Scmas food booth so people won't have to leave the building to eat? Great opportunity to make more $$$ for the club.

Hamburgers, hotdogs, snacks, drinks, etc..

Awesome show! +1 on getting better every year.

And thanks to all the SCMAS volunteers, some of you looked way too tired om Sunday.

Shows over now get some rest!!

To Greg and everyone at SCMAS...Honestly, I dont know if you could improve that show with the space available in my opinion.

Thank you so much to everyone for working so hard on this event. Your efforts and work shined thru.

I have been to mutipal events in this last year as a new member in the reefing community and have to say I feel like I just saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

I have run, from top to bottom, VERY large scale shows in the RV industry for the last 10 years and until your event, was a little dissapointed in the other events and had been thinking this industry was not there yet, feeling that I had to lower my expectations.

Another event at the same location was late with the speakers,(couldnt give me an answer why or when they would start) had PA problems, charged $24 for two cans of beer or $8 for a can of coke. There was also, IMO, a very low attendance. The coral selection was good. (I was new then and any coral was good coral)

You guys at SCMAS Nailed it!

Great attendance, exellent speakers, (loved Adam's LED talk at 1PM on Sat.) on time with everything. When I asked a question of staff, it was answered immediately and in a friendly way. I actualy felt like part of the show.

The coral vendors and selection were great with exellent pricing for a show. Manufacture selection was exellent as well. I truly feel I have learned and seen more in the 2 days of your event than I have in all the other shows I have been to in the last year combined. More important than that, I HAD FUN!

I know that I have only been in this hobby for 1 year, not counting the last 7 in freshwater, but take this from someone that has been responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in single sales events that covers the entire fairgrounds, a sucessful show does not happen without a sucessful team.

IMO, you guys are that team.

Congratulations again and tell everyone at SCMAS "thank you" from me.

+1 I was starving in there! But was worth it. I wasn't so hungry anymore after I got to buy corals. :beachbum:

This was a huge effort by scmas And everyone involved and it really showed! I was really happy to see so many new faces and answer new tank questions. I think ot was a real boost for our sagging community! Great job scmas!!!!

stop staring at the utter chaos at late night and get some sleep. you wont be so tired

I will point out the attendance numbers do not include vendors, press, workers, or volunteer's, which would inflate the numbers unrealistically, as some other shows like to do.
