Just like it says. My mom on occasion likes to drop by the LFS. She texted me at work and this is what i came home to. Love you mom!
(pardon the photo, was at night and ive never actually tried a night time shot with the DSLR)

Ive read a bit about them, and asked a few people. Low flow, and pretty much sand bed. What about feeding? What does everyone feed their scollys? Also wanted to know do scolly's reach a certain size and STOP growing? This is pretty big and pretty much the max size when i googled it.:hmm6:

Wow, that shot is clean. Wish we can get alot of those scollies dow here alot.

racine is only a fewhr drive from where i live.. 110 bucks for a nice scolly would def be worth the trip

I didn't buy it here in Racine. Racine doesn't have crap for fish shores. Not sure if I can post the name of the store here but the lfs I shop at is in highland park IL. About a 40min drive for me. I concur on a nice price. But I always get deals/money off my purchase because it's pretty much the only place I shop at.

Nice scoly. I would looove to see it under normal white and blue lighting. Stunning under actinic. My parents are way down with coral too. I always have to tell my mom to not buy so much stuff at the lfs because i always gotta acclimate it and learn to care for it. Poor me. Anyway, my scoly started at 3-4 inches diameter and now expands up to and past 6 inches. I feed it chopped pieces of silverside and a squirt of mysis/cyclops sometimes. Yes i think they should be fed at least once a month, i feed it every 2 weeks or so. Mines on sand bed with light flow. 110 dollars is kind of a lot but not unheard of here in the San Francisco bay area. Especially for a crazy colored specimen. Think mine was $40.
