My bleeding apple appears to be receding a bit, will feeding it more help? I feed blood worms every week or so. Could it be the lighting? I was told not too much lighting so I put it slightly under an overhang, but barely, still gets almost full light except about 1/4 area. Should I move it to full light? Any help is appreciated. Thanks...

Pull her out a bit onto the beach...a little more light, a little more flow and feed heavy for the next few weeks (extra water changes to keep away from any spikes)

Thanks for the reply. I moved it into full light and fed mysis this morning, will feed reef roids tomorrow morning. Appreciate the help...

Not looking good, there is a tear that was just a small hole yesterday and is now much bigger. Can it recover? I fed RR this morning and it is now in full light. It doesn't open fully at night like it used to...

Make sure that it is not getting direct flow! This will slow the healing process. Make sure that you do not have anything that will irritate it during this time also.

Thanks for the quick reply. Nowhere in my tank gets zero flow, but it definitely does not get direct flow. I don't have any fish or critters that bother it. Think it will recover with regular feedings?
It doesn't open wide at night, but when I feed, it does close in around the food
