I'm convinced that prices will pretty much never go down on any corals anymore. So much hype, LE's, Tyree's, aussie's, etc. have cleared the way to charge whatever people want. As long as the coral looks nice, you're going to get gouged for the maximum amount online.
I dont think supply and demand even factor in anymore. The vendors make so much profit selling just one piece, they can eat 10 others and still come out ahead. There is no incentive whatsoever to lower prices. Just let it sit in a tank, take some highly photoshopped pics, have buddies start 10 threads on here about how "rare" the coral is and wait for a sucker to come by and pay the exorbitant price.
If you dont think that is true, just check any of the pic threads. A surprisingly large number of the people posting pics in those threads have been "moved on" and almost all because their posts were really just schills to drum up their own sale threads.
