Do scooter blennies require copepods and if so does that mean my tank is to small for one. Or do i need to add fuge? I have heard that they can eat brine shrimp.:reading:
Thanks
Too small, yes.
A scooter blenny can be fed freshly hatched live baby brine shrimp. Frozen brine shrimp aren't nutritious enough.
A scooter blenny is actually a dragonet, and it's basically a mandarin dragonet. Treat it as such.
i also think the tank's a bit small for a scooter dragonet. even if you add a refugium to the system, there won't be enough pods for the fishes considering the presence of the six line wrasse which is also a pod eater.
Clown goby is a good choice, they eat prepared foods. Definitely start it out with frozen, though.
Adult brine shrimp is extremely low on nutrients, just so you know.
