scooter blenny-what'll it eat?

well that just about sums it up. Just got a scooter blenny and was wondering what i could feed it. My rock is relatively mature and i think i may have some pods, but not a plethera.

Scooters are dragonetts, same family as a mandarin and just as tough to get to eat prepared foods. Try everything you can and hope it eats.

restock your pod population by putting or "rinsing" mature cheato in your tank. The pods living in there will move to the rock.

Have to disagree with you on this one Colin. Scooters are dragonets but I have found they are easier than mandarins to get on frozen food. I say they must have some pods but I have one now and had a couple of others that I gave away. I found that if you turn your pumps off and turkey baster some mysis, cyclopeeze and daphina in their direction they will grab it while it is still moving. Eventually they will recognize it as food and start picking it off the rocks. Just leave your pumps off for a while because they cant chase food down in the current.

i found a website which sells pods in a pouch. They come live in SW and i was wondering if anyone had ever used the stuff. I was thinking about using them to seed my rock.
