scopas tang help id the problem

Hi just picked up the tang today got home and seen 4 or 5 little white specs on the back half of one side of his body. Could anyone help? I have some ORGANI CURE parasite treatment im going to try to leave him in a small tank tonight and treat him . also was wondering about fresh water dip ? any one have any info it will be greatly appreciated. THANKS

Any chance of a photo? If not, without more symptoms, you'll have to match the white spots on your fish to the white spots in a photo of a fish with a diagnosed disease because there are several diseases that cause white spots. Here is a link with some good photos and basic disease information:

If possible I would keep the fish separate from other fish and definitely not put the fish in your DT.
