Im thinking about getting a scopas and im new to the hobby, does anyone have any info to share with me?good or bad.:thumbsup::frog:

i love my scopas but i saved his life too. so he is special to me. mine is a big bully to other tangs and tiggers even if they are twice his size but that always ends after about a week.

oh ok well i have a 75g reef with a couple soft coral and a bunch of hard and stony.i plan to add a blenny and clown to the tank before him and so just him and those small guys,occelarise clown by the way.i love scopas and i had a sailfin and kole before but i didnt work out.the sailfin was doin awsome but then i added te kole too soon ans i didnt qt him long enoghe so all the fish in my tank got sick and died.............but il be ready for new fish on the 6th of decemer after waiting a long time.

Ive had one in my frag tank for about a year now. He is pretty shy..but great does a great job at algae control.

I've got one and love it. I've had him for 3 years now. Great at algae control and a pretty active fish, he forages 24/7.

Add it last. Mine was the first in a 90g and he was about 3 inches and killed any new fish except a yellow coris wrasse which he swam around with a lot.

i would not put more then 1 tang in a 75. scopas will outgrow a 75, try a tomini, flame fin, or chevron.

no, those are not very hardy and scopas should be ok in a 75g.il add him last and if does get to big il sell him.
