I saw a small scopus tang at the LFS that is nearly black. I like it, but I wondered if the coloring would remain. Anyone know?

Scopas tangs can come in many ranges from light brown to a darker black/brown. Most fish change colors as then age and grow so theres no really telling. When I first got my tomato clownfish , she was really light orange and over 1.5 years shes a dark maroon color.

No it will not. i have one in my 190g and it is 6 inches and it us a brown at the end of the body and turns into a yellowish tanish. check it out on google or somthing. mine was black at the store due to stress.
