Went to the LFS tonight to get some snails for my wenn. (He's happily clicking as I type)

Anyway as I checked out, a book caught my eye....

I asked the LFS owner, "How Much?" - Answer "$20"

I took it - It has some great photography in it. Best of all it has a nice section on mantis shrimp with "introduction" and photos by none other than our hero, Dr. Roy!

2nd best of all, I checked Amazon and the book sells new for $59.99!!

Found this book just in time too - Weatherman advises "Winter Storm Warning" tonight thru Sunday. Ain't goin anywhere this weekend.

Helmut put together the best collection of stomatopod photos ever published. I was happy to provide a few photos, check some ID's and write a short intro. To find it for $20 is incredible.
