Scraches on 450 gallon?

Hi there,

The inside of my tank as scratches on it and from a magnet that had sand in it.

They go from the top to the bottom and across it. Now the tank is 8ft long and 3ft tall that needs to be cleaned.

How should i go about doing this? I got a scratch repair kit and it worked in the small area i tested it but I would need a few to cover all that, or would it be better to empty the tank and buff it out?

If I repair them with the kits, I will need to get into the water to do this as it is 3 ft deep

if you can drain it, it's a lot easier, then use Novus 3, then 2, then 1 polish, works like a charm

good question, I have not, nevertheless I'd clean it well with vinegar before filling
