In the coming month we will be able to offer a project writing service, this will not be free as it takes a lot of time but for those that like plug and play it is a great service. same goes for initial profiLux set ups.

Why set up something people have to pay extra for, we have spent a small countries deficit on our systems, I would be more than happy to act as the banker, people can email me program's and I could pass on what people require, that's free, just a thought and my views

You dont have to pay for it, normal support is available for everyone for free, but if you want someone to do the programing for you and not want to learn how to do it yourself (as we have multiple requests for) then this would be service chargeable, due to the dedicated time involved.

Ahh sorry mate, miss read you lol, wow I'm surprised people don't want to learn how to program these lights, I can't get enough, iv written loads of program's, tweak them, if its not what I want it goes in the bin and I start again :lmao:, I will admit, sometimes it gets a bit frustrating because its not straightforward, but that is part of the learning curve.
I still feel the software need improving, but I'm sure that will come in time.

There are a few issues iv raised on the support forum, but no response as yet, and although the manual shows you what is what, it does not show one how to write a program, I'm also finding some of the program's I'm writing are a bit washy, I just can't seem to get the blue right, I'm sure this will come in time

Just an after thought iv had on this project writing service that people have been asking for, would it not be better to make the software more user friendly so people can understand and write their own projects.

I have had a few by email and to be fair i can see by a country mile, people dont know what they are doing, as well as the 100s of hours iv put in, im not a lot further forward.

Even the default program on the mitras is very scatty, (running 17k, 4k, 6k, 11k), if that isnt all over the place i dont know what is???.

Im just thinking its very unfair to charge people for a program simply because they dont understand the software

To be honest the software is so intuitive it does not take much to get your head around it. even without a manual.

There is no need to charge anyone for this as its basic set up and can be covered under the support forum if people get stuck, as I said before this service would be for those that really dont have the time of inclination to do anything themselves and like the option to have someone to do it for them.

The Mitras software has been praised throughout the industry for its ease of use, I dont see how easier it could be

1. select your on time for the start of your project
2, select a start dimming percentage
3. set a default use K rating if you really dont want to make your own
4. set you next time event
5. when done press transmit to mitras

it really is no harder than that. More complex settings are covered in the manual and also can be asked on the forums.

I have done ample support myself and 99% of the time the simplest things are missed for example pressing transmit to Mitras which is covered twice in the manual, or they are not setting a 0% to end a dimming run so their lights stay on overnight.

If you want to set your own colour temp then this is easy too, just tick the box at the top that shows the live settings on the mitras then set.

ok so maybe you could comment on my other thread, "mitras" for me, i am so surprised its been on the "support" forum since the 13 of this month and nobody can help, this is where my utter frustration is coming from

I wouldn't call it intuitive. I'm starting to understand it better, but if the program was intuitive it wouldn't have the learning curve it has. One could just program the first day.
