scribbled in cupramine - side effect skin issue?

ok.. below is video of a scribbled I have in a Hospital tank. I ran treatment of cupramine and all fish in QT eating like pigs and happy including the female scribbled. Recently though she started getting patchy marks. see video below.
copper level is a little high .60. nitrates high also due to feeding a lot and QT tank water is copper treated so not doing a lot of water changes.
so do we think this is like brok? Velvet? or side effect of high copper levels high nitrate levels. all other fish some angel look good. note fins are a little frayed.

Well, I can't really tell from the picture... it just looks like natural "scribbles" on her body to me, anyway. I would lower the cupramine level. I do water changes during treatment without issue. Just medicate your new water to the same level.

How long have they been in QT? It's pretty tough to get high nitrates in a QT tank without a lot of biological filtration, a lot of waste, and time. I'd maybe double check your nitrate test kit.

I don't think velvet is there.... the fish would not be acting normally/eating, and depending on how long since you added any fish, would likely be dead if more than a few days. GL and keep us posted!

the little like white blotches I am referring to.. kinda of like similar to first stages of hole in head look for whiter areas of scales.
Hard to describe.
Yes acting totally normal. eats like a pig and comes to front of tank to be feed. has looked like this for about 5 days. has been in Hospital tank for since 11-26-14. so 3 weeks. one week no cuparime. two weeks in it.
at first no issues then during first week some white spots so added the curparmine to the QT tank and became a Hosptial tank
other angels look great in the QT. juv emperator has looks like start of hole in head on both sides (can kinda of see it in video _
.. so that is why I am thinking to high of copper level. .07 on test kit this am.. had some low levels of Amonia for a while.. that is why I am wondering...

if you go to my early post says "img" X IMG. you can click around it or on X and will actually be directed to a video.. do not know why it has a blank pic for the video but it is there.. or at least was.

Update. Reduced level of copper down with 20 percent water change. Looking much better after ten days. Question. Can prazipro be added to a tank that had Cuperium

Glad to hear it! I prefer running prazi after cupramine has been removed with carbon filter.

I did a prazi before.. then copper.. they look great so don't think need to do a second run on the prazi.. but thinking in the future.. I will.. let then acclimate to the QT for few days.. feed. start with the cupramine... then after treat with prazi...

thanks

No problem. Yeah, I also usually don't start with prazi unless there are obvious signs to do so, since it can impact feeding response, etc, which isn't great for a brand new fish.

i need to treat some others in the QT tank with Prazi. can there be any copper left in the tank or am I doing a 100 percent water change to remove copper before treating with Prazi.. this is for new fish.. scribbles doing great in the main tank

Glad the scribbled is doing well. I personally change out all my water between QT runs of fish. But it's a small tank, so it's easy.

I changed out 25 gallons from the 55 QT tank. Changing out 40 gallons tomorrow. The doing a
Prazipro run. For few weeks.
