Scrubbing Snail Shells

im looking to add some large turbos to DT. i currently qt fish with TT.

now with the snails , can scrubbing the shell with a wire brush inside and out be enough to remove the encysted stage?

No. How can you be sure you scrubbed everywhere, there can be cysts even behind the operculum that you cannot access without killing the snail once the snail closes it.

yeah. i need to be 100% so ill probably just scrub the outer shell and qt for 90 days. hopefully they take to nori.

No need to scrub if you are going to qt them.

ya well. after reading someone had an ich outbreak after qt everything for 90 days. i'm gonna do everything possible. scrub away.
