scwd closed loop or sea swirl closed loop

what does everyone think would be better? scwd on a closed loop ( not sure of pump size ) or a sea swirl closed loop. if i went with the sea swirl i would only have one sea swirl. if i do the sqwd closed loop it will be like the one on melevs site. one output on the center of each side pointing straight across slightly angled down. just wanted some opinions from people that already have them

SCWDs can make some noise, while the Sea Swirls are dead quiet. I have tried both, and like the Sea Swirls - simple, basic design. I run two 3/4 inch Sea Swirls of an Eheim 1262 as the return from my sump.
