SE metal halides on HQI ballast

I'm going to be receiving my PFO dual 250watt HQI ballast soon, and was wondering which SE bulbs were the best to overdrive besides Iwasaki? I'm going to test my old Iwasakis on it to make sure everything goes well. How would an SE 20k bulb such as XM look being run on an HQI ballast? How much higher would the PAR be? I can't wait to do this :rollface: Also, how long will SE bulbs last on an HQI ballast? Think I could get 7 months out of them?

radium 400 watters work great not sure about 250 watts though.

you'll get 7 mos sure, no problem. Look at the link on 250w MH testing at cnidarianreef.com. It'll give you all the data you need (assuming the bulb has been tested by joe)
