Sea Cucumber curiosity

Ok guys and gals.. quick question:

I no so recently bought a sea cucumber (a month ago). After acclimation and inserting into my DT, I have went weeks without seeing the damn thing...lol I just found him tonight (just the head or it could be the tail) and he seems to be inside a rock ( very porous rock ..btw).

1. Is this normal?
2. Could he be stuck?
3. What should I do?

Please help...

Leave it. They can turn their bodies almost into a liquid to get in and out of small places. If you mess with it, like I did the other day with mine, it might eject its guts in defense (like mine). They can grip on to things with a very strong hold, so trying to get it out isn't a good idea.
