Sea Fan

Any of you have a Sea Fan that has been alive for a long time? Do you like it, is it's growth rate fast? I have a spot in a tank that is a bit on the bare side now that I have removed a SPS that was pretty big.

I was looking for something that was tall and skinny, and the Sea Fan would seem to fit that.

I've had one for about 3 years that just won't die. It attaches pretty much any place I put it. If it falls onto the sandbed and gets partially covered for weeks on end(I hide it in the back of the tank), as soon as those receding areas get light, they recover in about a week. It has purple branches and cream/tan polyps. It is photosynthetic.
