Just bought a blue polyp gorgonia. Just after I paid for it the LFS employee said so sad. It'll be dead in a month.
Anyone ever have luck with these? Any tips would be appreciated.

If it's a blueberry gorgonian he's probably right. Not sure why he didn't tell you that before you bought it. Post a pic and we can probably tell you. If it's anything non-photosynthetic you will have to feed it appropriate foods multiple times a day to keep it alive.

I have had my blueberry for over 3 months now and it is doing great, it has grown new branches and polyps. As Uhuru said you will have to feed it a couple of times a day and keep it in a high flow area.

I purchased mine about 7 - 8 months ago. It has its good days and bad, but still kicking.

that said, you should do the research before you buy.
