Sea Hare in Williamsport - Anyone need?

So I ordered two sea hares recently and both are doing wonderfully.. in fact, too wonderfully! I think I underestimated the hunger of these guys. What little hair algae I had (from some bad used liverock) these two guys have made short work of. There's only a small amount left and I'm sure they'll have it gone within a week (or less). I'm hesitant to get rid of both these guys, since they're doing so good at cleaning the tank, but I don't want them to go to waste, so....

Anyone in the Williamsport area interested in a sea hare? Will let it go for $15 (paid $16 for it) but don't want to ship, so pick-up only. Current water parameters are 73F, 1.024 salinity (if it matters for easier acclimation for people). Let me know if anyone is interested! ;)

No bites yet, so make it $10 pick-up? :D My tank has never looked better, glad I kept the old rock I had now (now that its algae free). Any takers?

Id love to take it but your too far for me. Ive always debated getting one. If your ever inthe Pottsville or Wilkes Barre area I'd take it off your hands.

Heh, yeah, don't think we'll be in that region anytime in the near future, unfortunately. Hopefully someone around the area will have a need and see this soon. Greedy things are starting to clean the pipes even of what little is there and getting the cyano off the back glass to boot. If I ever upgrade to a 200 gallon tank or such, think these guys are gonna be on my CUC list. :)

Heh, well, now that these two guys have completely cleaned the tank, pipes included... one free to good home? Anyone in the area have any hair algae to get rid of? :D

Not sure. only caulerpa I have is in my sump for filtration purposes. They haven't touched the codium or gracilaria hayi, or ochtodes, I have in the display. Well, they moved over it and ate what algae was growing on it all, but left the macro itself alone. Caulerpa though... dunno. XD

I had one once it ate everything in the tank I was trying to feed it Nori wich it ate. But could not feed it enought they will die from hunger rather fast! and if they do they can make a mess of your tank! if you don't have any Nori they sell it at wegmans and I think Giant. hope you find a home for them they are the best at what they do! and kinda cool to watch I called mine a sea cow lol. you might try Brent at Beyon the reef. he may know of someone who needs one. just a idea...
