does any one know any information on SeaHare? I know they are voracious hair algae eaters but there are some down sides. any infor is greatly appreciated

I had one which ate every algae imaginable and great to watch.

But, wondered into a power head!

They are notorious for getting sucked into things, and supposedly can wipe out a tank when dying.

I had one for a few months until it got killed by a powerhead. Just watch those powerhead suctions if you get one. It didn't harm the tank when it died. They can get fairly large and mine was a bulldozer. It knocked small stuff around as it moved. I saw a couple at a LFS that were larger than a can of soda.
