Sea hare named employee of the week

I got a sea hare (Jabba) less than 2 weeks ago because my reef looked like a salad bar. This dude ate every piece of hair algae in my tank and even though he is the size of a small puppy he didn't knock over any of my rocks or corals. Now that all of the algae is gone he just does his routine maintenance on the reef then happily eats his nori seaweed sheets that I rubber band to a rock. I get a huge package of them in the Asian food section at the grocery store for $3, my tang loves them too.

This sea hare is one of my favorite critters ever, he is so ugly he's cute and makes funny faces when he eats. All the fish just swim around him trying to figure out what he is.

90 gal with a 30 gal sump, Im the guy that was in Sea yesterday while you were there talking with Mateo about the led.

I don't think I could rent him out but I might be interested in trades. I have never posted a picture but if it works you will be able to see him. If anyone is interested and has something cool to trade I might be up for it.

I just got one last night. A smaller sea hare. Within one day it cleaned up 2 rocks covered in all sorts of algae. I was thinking about cleaning my glass but I'll just wait. no issues in the reef tank, no corals knocked over. And more productive in cleaning house than I am. Might have to see if I can train it to use a vacuum and a mop
when the food runs out I'll just stock up on some nori.

Thats awesome I would love to get one to clean the brown algae I have growing on my rocks that my turbos arent fast enough to clean up but I think that my mystery wrasse you make fast work of the hair. I got some snails off ebay...umm i immediately saw him pick them up and pull them out of their shells... hes an bugger that mystery wrasse! He leaves the extra large cleaner and fire shrimps along tho!
