sea horse

I have a 55g cube, stock list is a follows;
softies, LPS, and SPS corals.
3 blue chromis
1 pair of ocillaris clowns
1 chocolate goby
1 skunk grammer
1 small star
1 coral banded shrimp
+ cleanup

Is there any reef/coral safe seahorse that i could successfully add to this system?
Very new to sea horses, just find them very beautiful...

they need low flow and I believe the corals can sting them.

they are best kept in a species tank - low flow, and no competition for food. look at the seahorse forum for more help

I wouldn't try it. Many fish can be agressive to them, or beat them to eating the food, leaving the sea horse starving.

Also, the LPS corals may injure them.

Not only will the Seahorse not thrive in your tank, your Coral Banded Shrimp would kill and eat it, it would get stung by corals and blown around in the flow you should for a full reef tank.

Also, most seahorses that are available are from more temperate regions, and need cooler water than a typical reef tank. However, there are tropical seahorses that do well in the same temps, but won't work in a reef.
