Well, the kids are back to school and it's time to get back to some serious reefing! :D

Sea Schor just sent out the flyers and the sale is August 26-27...

If you attended their grand opening, you went "fishing" for your discount and all livestock will be up to 30% off!

They'll have super-special prices on clean up crew packages, 120 gal and 180 gal setups, live sand, TropicMarin Pro, RO/DI, Reef Feast products and more! They told me the new Oceanic bio-cube 29 gal will be at $199 and they're even offering a free 16 oz. reef solution with any purchase over $125!

You should see the load of great corals that they've brought in for this sale........

BTW, CMAS members should definitely bring your card with you, as Steve has promised an additional 5% beyond the sale prices!!!

Tony has the main display looking good too! see for yourself:

I tried to take some photos of the SPS and LPS, but my lousy picture-taking skills were evident, so you'll just have to go see them for yourself!

Sea Schor is located at 400 W Dundee Rd in Buffalo Grove and their phone number is 847-808-8100.

The hours are 10AM-5PM on Saturday and 11AM-4PM on Sunday!

See you there!

Boyd

I forgot to mention that Sea Schor now offers a 72 hour guarantee on livestock! Talk to them to find out the details and any restrictions!

Four days......

I got my flyer today, they didn't put their # on it, so here it is, 847-919-3474 in case someone needs it.

It has been a while since I stopped in at Sea Schor so I decided to drop in last night and I must say the SPS show tank is looking awesome. They also have some really nice Monti’s for sale this Weekend including some great looking Superman Monti. They have lots of stuff for sale this weekend.

Dr. J,

I respect your opinion so could you tell me what makes the trip worth it? His display tank is awesome but he doesn't sell anything from his display tank. His inventory, is, well, not good or nice so what makes this worthwhile?

I dont even go there anymore, no fish, same old average dying corals in the tanks just a waste of trip everytime.

cw150-

Im not out there all the time, but when I do go in, they have some pretty amazing deals on some nice colonies. Im not for sure, but I though he was selling frags from the display every Sat...I could be wrong, though.

I also applaud the fact that they quarantine quite a few of their fish stock before selling....a practice I ave not seen at other stores.

Just my opinion, though:)

Rats...if anyone is going to the sale, let me know - there were a couple of things I wanted to pick up, and I'm not back till Sunday night...help! :)

I stopped by Sea Schor on Friday and saw lots of beautiful SPS and Montipora. Also a couple of very cherry red fin fairy wrasses! :)

I took a few more photos to post, but my computer is not allowing me to upload them for some reason! :(

It's definitely worth your trip to stop by for this sale!! :D
