Those guys are baffoons! I love how the fat instigator sits safely in his mother vessel and sends his pawns into danger. These guys are Eco-terrorists plan and simple. There is a big difference between observing and reporting wrong doings, and threatening the lives of people who may very well be playing by the rules. What they do is like assaulting a clinic or a wedding, an integrated school, or even worse a building simply because something is against a moral high ground. Again, those guys are baffoons.

I personally find these guys to be entertaining. They represent one extreme in some situations where a middle ground isn't always present. They also create a lot of unnecessary risk to human life that I don't agree with, and lean on unproductive rhetoric in place of scientific fact whenever it suits their agenda. Winter's argument is clearly about ethics and not a sustainable industry.

We can disagree with that stance, but there's no getting around the fact that home reef aquariums are wasteful. I routinely get letters from NIMO stating that I have the highest electricity usage of an of my neighbors. I'd wager that I use a lot more water than them as well (I'm probably dumping 75-100 gallons of RO waste down the drain each month).

the first two seasons were amazing. they are such morons. they are constantly screwing something up and always on the verge of losing a ship (which they actually did once), someone dieing, or another catastrophic event.

haha So i'm not the only one who thinks those guys on tanked are a bunch of goons. I don't know how many times I've thought to myself " You guys build aquariums and don't know that??!?!" And im the biggest newbie of the mall so haha


Also, if they REALLY wanted to "protect reefs" there are 1000 better ways to go about it

In reality, the 'Tanked' guys are masters of building acrylic aquariums.
I don't consider them goons or bufoons- they're good at what they do: BUILD ACRYLIC AQUARIUMS. They aren't a maintenance business. They get in and they get OUT. (Smart fellas!)

The reality SHOW 'Tanked' is just that.... a SHOW made for television.

As for protecting reefs... how many people are aware of the legislation President Bush signed?

Nothing new. More on my opinion about everything that goes on. Sensationalism and hype. Every point being made today has to be extreme. Wanna save the ocean, ban aquarium trade. Wanna build a fish tank, build it in a pinball machine.
