Sea spider hitch hicker

I got 2 sea spiders when I purchased some mushroom frags... should I worry about them? I have no other form of corals besides the 'shrooms.

They are very slow moving... almost like they want to feel secure before moving the next leg. I haven't seen them since the day I put the frags on the main tank.

Yes, you should worry about them. Sea spiders are predatory. Since these guys came in on your mushrooms there's a good chance that that's what they eat.

After reading a little more, I am now convinced the animal I saw was a spider CRAB and not a sea spider... Sorry but I didn't think about taking a picture of it (even though I should).
