Sea Star Hitchhiker ID

Just posted this in my local forum... probably should have posted here first...

I picked up some snails today, and found this guy in the mix... should I be concerned about putting it in my tank? I've had those little white stars multiple terribly, and don't want to deal with that again... This star is almost 3/4".

It does look like it belongs to the family Asteriniidae but it doesn't look like one of the species that reproduced by splitting into two individuals. Those are the ones that rapidly multiply in tanks and some of which do prey on corals in tanks.
