OK NEED YOUR HELP ON THIS ONE I SET UP 150 REEF TANK IN OCTOBER BOUGHT LOTS OF ROCK AND MANY ASSORTED SOFT CORALS. I HAVE HAD NOT 1 THING DIE ON ME YET. I DID BUY 1 LONG TIP ANEMONE AND 1 SEABEE ANEMONE BRIGHT WHITE WITH BLUE TIPS. PICKED UP SMALL CLOWN AND HE/SHE SETTLED DOWN IN THE SEABEE JUST FINE. WELL OVER THE PAST WEEK THE SEABEE HAS BEEN VERY LARGE SIZE OF DINNER PLATE AND BRIGHT WHITE MORE THEN EVER. TONIGHT I CAME HOME FROM WORK AND NOW I HAVE 3 ANEMONES!!! THE LONG TENT IS STILL THE SAME DOING FINE. THE SEABEE ANEMONE IS STILL BRIGHT WHITE , BUT A THIRD OF THE SIZE. NOW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TANK IS A THIRD ANEMONE VERY SMALL 2.5 INCHES OR SO BRIGHT WHITE JUST HANGING UNDER A ROCK LEDGE? HOW DO THESE GUYS AND GALS REPRODUCE OR SPLIT? THANKS FOR HELP.

Please take caps lock off.

Usually, though not always, bright white anemones are not well.

Read the FAQ at the top of this forum for more information on keeping anemones.

Sorry for the caps, The anemones was white when bought months ago then went to a darker color see my (photo page) now has been white again for a few weeks. I did look better at this new anemone and the ends are more rough or jaggered then the seabee. I have now clue were it came from could it have been hidden in the rock for all this time?
