hi (Jason) P.A., i recieved my (kits) Calcium and Mg/Alk last Wed. (order # 132632A) the Total Alkalinity Indicator is yellow-orange when dispensed, instead of the deep blue it has always been. i emailed Seachem Wed. and also posted in the sponser forums. i still have not received a reply from them. the temps have been in the 20's & low 30"s here for about 3 weeks. could the temp have effected the (TAI)? just courious. thanx for your time,
John M. :(

BTW: the Calcium kit gives correct readings.

thanx, Jeremy. ive never had a problem with Seachem products. fact: Rob at P.A. is the one who convinced me to use Seachem. i tested the CaC12 with both kits (Salifert) minutes apart and got the exact same reading. its only about $5.00 difference between the two but, the Salifert was on B.O. at that time. would P.A. swap-out the kit i have for another one? (i'll pay shipping if needed) or maybe Seachem could just send me the "TAI" bottle to go with the kit? again, thanx for your time and attn. to this matter. have a great weekend.

i bought a new test kit from my LFS. one drop, the water was blue. the kit i bought from P.A... it took 5 drops of the TAI to acheive the same results.
color change from blue, to yellow.

JOhn,

I have attempted to contact Seachem a few different times with no response yet. I can replace the kit for you. The way it would work is we would charge for a new one, ship it out, then once we get the defective kit back we will refund that back to your card.

Sorry for the delay, but the quickest way for response to us is via email or a direct phone call. We try to monitor this forum daily, however that doesn't always get done.

Thanks,
Jeremy
