SeaChem Salt Order - New Thread

I'm interested in 2 to 4 buckets if there's any to spare. I missed the start of this thread because I was on travel.

Ok well now I think we maybe ought to consider getting a second pallet.
I think previously we had said that we had 6 buckets spoken for if we got a second pallet, then this would make it 14 sold (if Jeff took 4).
Does anyone else think that they could take any more salt? If at all possible please let me know!
In the mean time I will talk to the guys at PA and see about the possibility of getting a half pallet (though this is extremely doubtful).

Crazy Idea?--If we come up only ~dozen buckets short of two pallets--What about ordering the remaining buckets out of the club money and selling them back to ourselves as members need/want them? The money comes back to the club in the end; we've just borrowed it to increase our buying power (and of course the salt belongs to the club until it is sold). I guess one issue with this is the storage of salt...(I have space inside an office building to do this, but I am less accessible to the club out here--I could bring it to monthly meetings on request though)

Hey Matt...great idea. Some people have mentioned this on previous salt orders (Eric and Don maybe) but not for this one so I didn't even think about it. We have built up the club funds a bit more now.
I checked the bank account and we could easily cover a good portion of a second pallet of buckets.
So everyone who can/wants more...please go ahead and send Matt the money for the extra ones. We will just plan on buying two pallets then. It would also be good if you could post in here that you want more!

Given that we have a pretty bright group here :reading: I'll let everyone adjust payment appropriately if extra buckets are desired without sending out new PM's to those who have already received them. I will keep track of the number of buckets paid for by each member, and we can use the club money for the rest. Sound ok?

Sounds good to me. Let me know when you have funds collected from all the other members and we can then figure out how many buckets the reef club needs to buy. We can meet up and I can give you a check then. Otherwise I don't know exactly how many the club needs to buy, ya know?

Fred, I think there's a strong possibility that we'll have the order in by next week, then another week to ship at the most.
Alternatively, I am sure there's extra Kent buckets around the club that we could sell you then just replace when the SeaChem comes in.
