Does anyone have any experience w/ this product? I got this huge "professional size" from someone a while back and have kept it refrigerated like I was supposed to...but I opened it today for the first time and it smells terrible...is that normal? Or is it bad. It's also this very dark red color and somewhat thick. I'm not sure if that's how the product is supposed to be or if I should just toss it at this point.

I use to use it and found it that it didn't help just made things worse for my corals. Ever since I stopped using it my corals have grown better. All what I do is a 3% water change weekly, top off with Kalk every nite and use reef complete once a week and loguls bi weekly.

Did it smell bad when you were using it? Or is it not supposed to smell at all though? What did it look like in the bottle?

I use it once a week. I think it does help my corals. My current bottle doesnt smell bad though. Yup, once its open, it must be refridgerated. If it smells really bad, I would toss it.

I don't remember it smelling bad. Though I do remember it having a layer of fungus growing on top inside the bottle even while it was refigerated.
