Seahorse books

Sorry for the nubish question, but...

I am an experienced reef keeper thinking of staring a seahorse tank. Is there a comprehensive, authoratative text on the subject that stands out above the rest?

Nope. There's not even really a good one for tank setup.

Lower flow then a reef, break the flow up so no point is to strong. Keep the temp low. Get appropriate tankmates. Buy CB seahorses. Feed frozen PE msysis. Pretty much sums it up.

Actually there are several great books on seahorses and pipefish, but it depends on the material that you want. Look on line for the aquatic book shop in shingle springs CA, he is a seahorse fanatic and he has all of the books on seahorses. Seahorses, Pipefishes and Their Relatives - A Comprehensive Guide to Syngnathiformes, is one of the best as far as species are concerned. I can't list all of the books I have, but look up the books shop.
