Seahorse Eye Problem

I have 2 juvenile Kuda seahorses. Recently one has aquired a whit spot on the center of it's left eye. I don't know if it is a piece of sand or something like that because the day before I had to take an object out of the tank and it stired up some sand. It is still eating and doing fine, just has a white spot on it's eye. I will post a picture later when I return home. Does anyone know what it is or if there is a treatment.

It looks like the SH injured its eye somehow. It may have been stung...are there any corals or Aiptasia in the tank? Is the condition unilateral?

It may heal on its own if it is an injury, but I'd bump the temp down below 68*F to arrest any bacterial growth. It wouldn't be a bad idea to treat the SH with Furan 2 if it looks like it's getting worse.

nope no corals or anything like that in my tank. there are only the two kudas and a goby that never comes out. i'll do my best to bump it down but it usually stays at a constant 74-76 degrees. yes it is unilateral it is only on the right eye. i said left earlier but i forgot which one. it's been there for about 3 days and isn't getting any worse, but it's also not getting any better, but that may be because it just hasn't been enough time.

It will take a bit for it to heal, but you'll need to keep an eye out for bacterial infection, esp. since it's a SH.
