seahorse help

From what I've read seahorses pretty much need a species tank for them to thrive. Many other critters will out compete them for food because they are slow eaters. Clowns can be quite aggressive also and might not be the best tank mates.

I am sure that others with more experience will chime in here but I hope this is helpful.

Basic needs?

Tank 29g or more.
Temps between 69-74F
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate I've gone as high as 100,
pH 8-8.4ish

They need things to wrap there tails around and hold onto. I use small branch rock in the tank and plastic chain in QT tanks. I also have various other decoration in the tank they like ie gorgonia, macro algae, powerhead cord.

Aquacultred seahorses should arrive eating frozen mysis, feed twice a day.

They only need enough light to find and eat there food.

I would spend the extra buckets for aquacultured direct from a breeder, otherwise we will be talking about what deworming methods are best, they take months, require there own tank, and are a PITA.

IME clowns are not so good as tankmates, firefish do fine.
