Seahorses and Seacucumber

I have just bought a pair of reidi seahorses, acclimated them for more then an hour and transfered them to the aquarium.

The setup consisted of liverocks, prolifera algae, zoanthids species, gorgonions, cleaner shrimp (that most propably I have to take out) and 2 sea cucumbers.

One of the seahorses immediately went near a sea cucumber and I do not know if possible but now this seahorse looks tired, layed on the seabed and breeding fast.

The other seahorse looks already stable. Immediately I took out the 2 cucumbers to be safe, but now I am worried.

Do you think a sea cucumber can sting a seahorse if the seahorse touches it?

Thanks

yes you shold be safe with the sea cucumber, they only eat detritus anyway, right???

i have 2 in my tank as well and they are entirely detritivors, i havent even seen them eat carrion!!!

what are your water parameters???

what kind of seacucumber???

not a sea apple, right???
