Seahorses

Hi everyone, I'm new to RC, I've been hanging around doing alot of reading. I'm planning on keeping a 30gl tank just for seahorses...anyone else in the are have a seahorse tank? If so, pics! Secondly, what do you feed and where do you get it? Who do you consider the most knowledable LFS on seahorses in the are? Thirdly, where did you get your Sh's and are the CB? Thanks so much everyone glad to be apart of the forum!

I've kept a pipefish (close cousin to a seahorse) in my refugium for over a year and don't feed him anything. It's a similar environment as the ones you find in the wild here in Tampa bay - in macro algae - full of the microfauna they like to eat. The usual way however I think is to raise brine shrimp fed on something nutritious like selcon and put that in the seahorse tank.

There's lots of threads on this though so do some more searches. =)

The only store I can recall seeing them in was petmart but I might be mistaken. You can order them online several places. The florida aquarium has some seahorse tanks.
