It took less time to install than my Red Berlin did to take out the tank. It also skims in 1 day in what the Red Berlin did in 1 month.

Which pump did you go with? What depth does it need to be at in the sump?

I had a new 2100 so I mused it and I have the 1400 new in the box as backup. Its in about 6 inchs of water.

Doug, Your large pump is helping that skimmer work well. I have the Remora in my 30 cube with the MaxiJet 1200. It works well but a larger pump would not hurt. You do need to get yourself a few bottle brushes to help you clean this skimmer.

I have the same skimmer and upgraded the collection cup along with adding the mag5. It works great. I have had it for over a year without any problems. Good choice.
