sealant

I think I have read and heard before as long as it is 100% silicone, its OK to use. Double checking, is this correct? Building a new sump and ran out of actual aquarium sealant.

From what I have read, as long as it doesnt say mildew resistent or something like that, its fine. Why not just use aquarium silicone? I know I have seen them at Lowes.

I plan on it now. Wife had the car today, so I was stuck within walking distance. Probably hit one of those places later on tonight.

for anyone else who might read this, the GE Silicone I has been a long faithful sealant for me in my brackish days, used it for my sump on my reef and still having good luck with it. It's non mildew resistant of course, and be sure to let it set / soak for a night or so to leech off any of the nasty smell
