I took the family to Sealife over the weekend and had a great time. I had been wanting to get a look at a tang that we donated when they were setting up their locally sourced reef. I was really impressed with how far along it had come in a year. The tanks looked really good and their sea turtle Zibba was a big highlight of the visit. I also really liked the room with the aquarium that goes in a huge circle around the walls, i felt like i was in the middle of a fish shoal.
One thing that i noticed was a bunch of kids in the 9-14 age bracket being amazed and having their curiosities ignited. You could tell the ones that were going to set up a tank, the ones that were reading every bit of info about the creatures. It took me back to when i was that age and my dad took me to the big seaquarium in myrtle beach, that got me hooked on this hobby. I have had at least 1 fish tank ever since. If you haven't been in a while its definitely worth a visit.
