Most MEN will not start eating from the middle. Most start from the edge and lay their eggs there. Then they wait for the babies to hatch and feed on the rest

My experience was definitly a random appearance of white patches all over a 8 inch dia monti cap followed by the same on a purple rim monti.I agree they hang out underneath but I know for certain they attack multiple places all at the same time.

I have maybe a 1 inch frag, no new white spots since after i saw the first ones. Im still not sold that it was nudibranchs. I blew away the sand that was on it, and actually move it from the bottom, to half way up. Ive heard they like high light, and the dont like light. So im just trying different levels to see what it likes.
